Important Announcement from The Writers Store

The landscape of life is always changing, and we’re excited to be embracing it at F+W Media. On July 19, The Writers Store storefront in Burbank, California will be closing its doors. Despite not having a physical storefront, our great products will still be available online. Over the next several months online products such as webinars and software will be integrated into Writer’s Digest. This presents an exciting opportunity for screenwriters as Writer’s Digest has been the go-to source for writing education, resources, and information for nearly a century. Having all your writing resources in one place will make your experience that much richer.

ScriptMag and Screenwriters University will both continue under the same name and will be as committed as always to delivering industry-leading news, education, and inside information to screenwriters.

We salute and thank everyone who has helped The Writers Store be the icon it’s been for over 30 years, especially Jesse Douma. While we’re saddened to close it, we want to assure you our commitment to screenwriters is as solid as ever. The move to Writer’s Digest comes with the potential of building a strong partnership that will only help in better serving the screenwriting community, as well as offer you new avenues for storytelling you may never have considered.

Over the next several months you will see ongoing announcements about changes being made. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Writer’s Digest customer service team http://www.writersdigest.com/contact-us.
